I don’t know about you, but when I eat a burger, it’s a celebration! I chop the meat for the patties, use my own pickles, and, of course, make the buns myself. I believe burger patties need nothing but salt and pepper—no crazy mixes or insane toppings. If the meat is amazing, nothing else needs to be added. Each patty gets topped with a different cheese: one with smoked gouda and one with cheddar, adding another layer of flavor. I also add thinly sliced white onion, so when grilling, they soften a bit but stay firm and sharp in spiciness. Next time you have a burger night with your pals, make these buns. You’ll be the center of the party. YESSS!

Lets Start Cooking!

step 1

Make my milk bread rolls recipe, worth the hype!

step 2

Slice open the bun, spread soft butter on the buns.

step 3

Heat up a pan on medium heat, toast the bun until golden brown.

step 4

In a small bowl, mix the mayo and ketchup.

step 5

On high heat, place the beef balls on the pan, place a parchment paper on them and smash as thin as you can.

step 6

Immediately season with salt and pepper and add thinly sliced onion on top.

step 7

After 1-2 min, flip to the other side, add the cheeses on the patties, and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 2 minutes.

step 8

Build the sandwich- on both sides of the toasty bun- spread the sauce, add the sliced pickle, and the patties.

step 9

YASSS!
