These are great if you pre-make your “cookies”. I made balls out of the flour mixture, squished, froze and topped with the rest. When I made it in the tray method everything fell apart when I cut. These are quite delicious and I will keep making! :) Thank you!

I made this recipe exactly according to the recipe. It was nowhere near firm enough to cut into bars after one hour in the freezer, not after two hours either. Also I used the amount of chocolate suggested and had enough to coat the top and sides but not dip tge bars into and cover the whole thing. Very delicious though.

I made these and they came out great just tweaked the recipe. It is a lot more involved than I thought but I didn’t have blanched almonds. I had raw almonds so I grounded them to make my own almond flour. It wasn’t super fine but turned out to be better since it gave the bar a bit of a crunchy texture and I didn’t need to add pistachios. Don’t throw away your date water I’m so glad I read the comments because I needed it to get the dates unstuck from my blender blades. I just added a tablespoon at a time cause to blend dates and peanut butter was a disaster waiting to happen. I did a double boiler to melt my chocolate to not have to add oil to it and it was fine. My husband thought I was crazy but he ended up eating 4 bars the same night they’re so good. Pistachios would’ve def taken it to the next level.

Thanks. The US measurements are a mostly converted to Oz, rather than to cups and spoons. It's a shame, cause we don’t normally use (or own) a scale for recipes here. I cant really follow this recipe. Please review the american recipes. Thanks. (Ps- i iniw that “purists” claim that you MUST use a scale because cooking is science, but i never have so it’s also art 😃)

These are the best! I added chia and flax to the almond flour base. Topped it all off with pistachios and seeds (sunflower/pumpkin) and dunked in Lily’s no added sugar white chocolate. Reminded me of a Zero bar.
