Ingredients:
2 corn on the cobs
2 limes
Half of a red onion
100 gr Feta cheese (I used Ezine Klasik which is the Turkish equivalent)
A handful of cilantro leaves
1 tablespoon sumac
1/2 tablespoon chili flakes
Salt
Extra virgin olive oil
Preparation steps:
- Heat up your grill to 600F or 320C.
- Shuck the corn and grill them for about 15 minutes or until they well chard.
- Let them cool down while you prep the rest of the salad.
- Cut the red onion in half and slice it as thin as you can.
- Separate the cilantro leaves from the stalks.
- Directly in the serving bowl, using a sharp knife, shave the grilled corn off the cob.
- Crumble the cheese.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and toss well.
- Serve next to all your BBQ food.
- Happy 4th of July!
