As many of you may know, the heat here in Israel is really something during the summer time! Other than water as the source of hydration, it is an absolute must to sit down once a day at a cafe and enjoy a frosted glass of Limo-nana. This mint lemonade slushy, for lack of better words, is pure satiation in brutally hot times. This drink is a MUST on any summer menu. It is the perfect drink to slurp by the pool before a meal fresh off the grill. Note. This is a non-alcoholic beverage, but can be made with Arak for a groovy kick!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice from around 5 lemons
  • ½ bunch loosely packed mint
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 cup water
